Tom deve a ogni costo difendere l’equilibrio che si è faticosamente costruito. E sa che c’è una cosa che non deve assolutamente fare: innamorarsi. Come fermare il tempo è una storia folle e dolceamara su come perdere e poi ritrovare se stessi, sull’inevitabilità del cambiamento e sul lungo tempo necessario per imparare a vivere. Una storia bellissima in cui riconoscersi, per piangere su tutto ciò che perdiamo e per rallegrarci delle meraviglie della vita.
