Abstract: Un bel topolino, si sà, è un boccone squisito per i predatori del bosco e tutti lo vorrebbero per cena. Ma il topolino è un tipo furbetto. Si inventa la figura di un mostro con l'intento di mettere paura a volpi, serpenti e civette. Ma cosa succede se si scopre che il mostro esiste davvero?

Abstract: Questa fantasia di Natale è la storia di un dono, un dono stregato e crudele, e di uno sventurato patto che il protagonista, il chimico Redlaw, sancisce con il proprio doppio fantasmatico.
